I also would LOVE these games!
Add 'Paper Boy', 'Crystal Castles', and '720' I would be a happy camper.
Crystal Castles is in there (but tough to play with the faux track-ball).
Paper Boy would be cool, especially if they used the iPad gyro's as the controller!
In fact Star Wars arcade (and any of the Atari arcaded games that used that flight-yoke looking controller) using the gyro's would be awesome too. Road Blasters, Star Wars ROTJ both used it I think.

Fancy having a Keynote dedicated to a gadget that won't be seen until 2008 :( Oh sure the U.S. will get it in June but the rest of the world (and there is one outside folks) won't get a chance to see it until later this year or next. I just don't see the point.
We have been keenly waiting on the details of Leopard only to be kept in the dark. Perhaps Apple Inc has gone the Adobe way. If this is a sign of things to come (and some of us remember the downfall during the Newton) then Apple Inc might want to start learning how to write music instead.

Yes, Navteq and Tele Atlas own the market when it comes to road data. However, these days maps are so much more than road information. Google has spent quite a few years obtaining data on places (w/ reviews), streetview, satellite images, etc. They obtain their information from more than just google maps users as well. I'm not sure how Apple can start from scratch and be able to match that kind of data that Google has.
Well, actual road map data and satellite data is all provided by the governments. Street view I'm guessing is Googles only. But it would be nice to see a major improvement on maps and roads. Something seems to be missing and if anyone can take it to the next level, it's Apple. Glad to see something in the works.
Notifications... sure, it would be nice to see better, but that's probably coming in iOS 5.0 anyways. Hopefully the first version of iMaps too.

Nothing special, only amateurish version what is depicted in next links:

Only difference is that 3d-virtual reality program is my own.
Thanks.. I was kind of being sardonic, though.

I'm looking for a recipe box app where I can add my own recipes, delete the ones that come pre-installed and preferably has a shopping list. A clean UI is a huge plus. Can anyone recommend one? The apps I've found so far haven't been what I am looking for.

What I've been waiting for is true javascript support for wysiwyg textarea editors. I run a Mac blog site and I have to ask users to use Firefox. It seems a little sucky to do that for a Mac specific blogger site. Since Safari 1.3 Apple said they included the nessesary "hooks" for these editors, but no one has been successful in getting any of them to work in Safari.
I downloaded the latest nightly build of Webkit and it still doen't work :(
WYSIWYG support is there and is improving all the time. The developers realize this is is an area of concern and it is on their compatibility hit list (http://webkit.org/projects/compat/hitlist.html). The latest TinyMCE development sources work very well in the WebKit nightlies.
If you discover a bug in your website, please report it using the guide (http://webkit.org/quality/reporting.html) on webkit.org. Bugs can't get fixed if the developers don't know about them.

Here are a few more things to fix:
Drag and drop iDisk including right click for renames, etc.
The ability to update the calendar on the web.
An easy way to view published calendars.
A photocast that actually works with other platforms and browsers.
Better integration of iWeb and .Mac (get rid of those old web templates).
I am sure there are more, but these things irk me right now...

Hello Everyone;
I am interested in getting a 4GB iPhone. I don't mind if it is used, so no particular preference. PM me if any of you want to part with a 4GB iPhone. Thanks!

Well I can only dream of achieving the moderator status. Maybe in 2 years Arn will give me a shot.
Be-careful on what you wish for. I have been a mod before, and it is not an easy task.
In many ways it is far better to be a positive contributing member to a forum.

Bertrand Serlet (Apple)
Apple today announced (http://www.apple.com/pr/library/2011/03/23serlet.html) that Bertrand Serlet, senior vice president of Mac Software Engineering, will be departing the company in order to "focus less on products and more on science", although his specific destination remains unknown. Serlet joined Steve Jobs at NeXT in 1989, and transitioned to Apple in 1997 when NeXT was acquired and Jobs brought back to lead Apple."I've worked with Steve for 22 years and have had an incredible time developing products at both NeXT and Apple, but at this point, I want to focus less on products and more on science," said Bertrand Serlet, Apple's senior vice president of Software Engineering.

Craig Federighi demoing Mac OS X Snow Leopard (Reuters)
Serlet will be replaced by Craig Federighi, currently Apple's vice president of Mac Software Engineering and who has led Mac OS X engineering for the past two years. Federighi is another former NeXT and Apple employee who spent ten years at Ariba before returning to Apple in 2009. Serlet notes that the transition should be seamless given Federighi's role in leading the current Mac OS X team."Craig has done a great job managing the Mac OS team for the past two years, Lion is a great release and the transition should be seamless."Serlet has occasionally appeared at Apple keynote and media events over the years to introduce Mac OS X-related features, and thus well known to longtime Apple followers. Federighi has made a couple of on-stage appearances since his return to Apple, demoing Mac OS X Snow Leopard at WWDC 2009 and showing off some of the features of Apple's forthcoming Mac OS X Lion at last October's "Back to the Mac" event (http://www.macrumors.com/2010/10/20/live-coverage-of-apples-back-to-the-mac-media-event/).

So buy a capacitive stylus already and quit whining about "finger painting".
Stylus-focused tablets failed in no small part because of the easily-lost one-more-thing-to-fiddle-with can't-function-without-it stylus requirement. So, Apple built a tablet that didn't need it. Insofar as a few people do need a stylus for limited applications, third parties make them. Buy one if you need it; nobody is stopping you but you.
